The Queen’s Park Primary School in St Helens has come up with a heartwarming way of easing the nerves of reception kid’s parents.

It can seem like just yesterday they were welcomed in to the world, and chances are the parents will be experiencing some anxiety over their little one hitting one of their first milestones and going into reception.

The staff at Queens Park School decided that they would put their heads together to do something lovely and ease the worry of the new starters mum and dads.

To do so, the staff put together a ‘survival pack’.  The pack consisted of coffee and tea, a chocolate treat, a packet of tissues, ‘Dear Parent’, a poem by Leonie Roberts and the school number :)
