Smiley reaches final stage of the Brand and Lifestyle Awards
Smiley has been nominated for a prestigious Brand and Lifestyle Award, for its much heralded collaboration with iconic accessories designer, Anya Hindmarch.
It was the Anya Hindmarch autumn winter 2015 collection that caught the eye of the awards judging panel, where exquisitely crafted leather bags embellished with the iconic Smiley face in a unique punch hole application stood out at retail. This one-of-a-kind collection also featured a backpack with playful graphic badges in a variety of colours.
The collaboration has performed amazingly well at retail, ensuring the partnership with one of the darlings of the U.K. Catwalk shows could continue into a fifth season at the recent London Fashion Week, where the latest AW2016 collection featured a variety of Smileys.
The inaugural Brand and Lifestyle Awards will be held at The Dorchester Hotel on the 20th April 2016 awards and will be judged entirely by a panel of prestigious retail buyers (hailing from leading names including Debenhams, Boots, House of Fraser, Urban Outfitters, Blue Inc, Sainsbury’s, Specsavers, Asda, M&Co, Lloyds Pharmacy, Mothercare and Jarrolds).
